Dr. Apolonio Q. Lasala, Jr. is the Assistant Director of the Institute of Urology and Head of the Section of Minimally Invasive Urology at the Chinese General Hospital and Medical Center (CGHMC), where he also leads the Robotic Urology program at the RoboCare Surgical Center. He likewise practices at De Los Santos Medical Center in Quezon City, Divine Grace Medical Center in Cavite, and performs select surgeries at the National Kidney and Transplant Institute and the Urology Center of the Philippines.
His areas of expertise include endourology, robotic surgery, and advanced laparoscopic surgery. Dr. Lasala obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery and completed his urology residency training at the National Kidney and Transplant Institute. He further honed his skills through specialized training in Advanced Laparoscopy at IRCAD in Strasbourg, France, and in Advanced Robotic Urology in Taiwan.
